She taught me for IB and I managed to get a 7 in the end after getting 4s and 5s throughout the entirety of the IB course. She was great at explaining the concepts, since she was well-versed with the IB syllabus. She made sure I understood the concepts properly and provided great resources that really allowed me to grasp the concepts well.

Moreover, she was very helpful beyond the lesson itself, she answered any questions I had and was very encouraging.

Ms Sally has helped me tremendously with Economics. I found her last minute after not performing well in my IB2 Economics mid-year exams. With her guidance, I managed to improve by 2 grades and eventually passed my final HL Economics exams in the short span of 3 months.

Ms Sally is thorough and simplifies complex concepts into bullet points, making them easier to remember. She also made understanding various graphs that I used to find complicated became much simpler.

Her patience stands out as she explains concepts clearly until I fully understand everything.

I was introduced to Ms Sally in my 2nd year of the IB and thus we did not have a lot of time to revise and catch up with my studies. I was averaging around a high four to low five, but thanks to her tutoring, I ended with a six overall with my Paper 1 and Paper 2 being a six and seven respectively. I am sure if we had more time together to prepare, I would have been able to achieve a seven easily.

Her notes were very easy to understand and remember, and her diagram drawings were clear and neat. This helped me to improve my own diagrams. Not only were her notes great, but also her explanations of the various concepts. She also provided a list of real examples for the various topics to memorise. Without her help in getting me a six for economics, I would not have been able to enter my dream university.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the teaching she provided me and will highly recommend her to anyone who wants to do well in their economic studies.

Previously, I used to score average or below average for HL Economics in school - Grade 4 to 5. However, teacher Sally helped me tremendously with my understanding and conceptual grasp of Economics. During tuition, she always recapped past concepts and graphs, and spent time unpacking and explaining how to best answer each question type. This allowed for active recollection and practice of Economics concepts, letting me to gain a better understanding of any gaps I have previously had. Thanks to her help, I was able to improve and score Grade 7 for the November 2024 IBDP.
